Which is a better slide glass or steel?

I’ve owned a glass slide before and liked it, i’m just wondering if a steel/brass one is different enough to buy. Favorites?

Glass sounds better by far. They also sell this composite slide called “bone” or something that sounds pretty good and doesn’t make your finger sweat the way glass does. I dont like steel or brass.
